Exactly, I operate in some pretty off the grid locations where cell is nonexistent, I think the distinction I was missing is between GPS and cell service. Whereas I could still have GPS without cell. Thanks! AJ- authrog

Nice hack! Do you know what happens if you're in a place with no GPS signal on your phone? Are you grounded?- authrog
