I always try to store the batteries between 50% to 60% and never run them below 20% and always let them cool before charging . I do this with all my Li-Po batteries I have the original Phantom 1 batteries and they still work fine they are from 2014 and have no swelling . The only DJI batteries...

I started flying in 2015 and when the Avata came out I bought one . I have the DJI F450 , F550 , 4 other home builds , Phantom 1 , , Mavic Pro 1 , Mavic Air 2 , and Phantom 4 Pro . and out of all these drones the Avata is hands down by far the most fun to fly . I have the Avata with Goggles 2...

Or maybe a menu button with a scroll toggle like on the Mavic controller . And give it say a 3 second delay to bring up the screen.

I'd like to see a button for reverse on the motion controller . That would make it perfect .

I have had this problem , so I thought it uses the props and air cooling duct to cool the processor so Ill just start the props idling and it should stay cool , wrong you can't change anything in the menu while the props are on . DJI should of spent a little more time getting things right on...

I let my avata sit too long and got a over heated message but not my goggles . But now that you mentioned it I don't hear any fan in my goggles either , or the drone . I love flying the Avata but this may be a case of getting out for sell before all the bugs are fixed .

from what I have read about the Avata batteries over night they drop to 96% and down to storage after 5 days . I seem to get about 12 to 15 minuets flying slow like through the trees . I have only tested sport mode a time or two , can't say how long they last in sport mode . I was getting slow...

Extreme Plus is not fast enough for the Avata you Need the V30 or above Extreme Pro U3 V30 A2 . Had the same problem , fixed now with new cards . Can't say it will fix yours but look in your Avata manual for supported SD cards . It tells you the best SD cards for Avata . I was using Extreme Pro...

It would be nice to have a wider frame . My lenses are all the way out . And who came up with the location for the SD card on the Avata , , , Bad Dog !!!

I had the same problem with Extreme Plus 128GB , I put in the Extreme Pro V30 and the problem went away . I use a 64gb . Fills up fast but no problems .
