    Audience Mode Quality

I came to the conclusion that not much can be done to fix the issue. The primary goggles can detect a bad packet and then direct the drone to re-send it. The Audience goggles can't do this. I forgot where I saw someone claim that reducing the bandwidth between the drone and primary goggles...

Just updated DJI FPV, now says "Remote ID error" Did i just screw myself?

Not sure I understand your question. The mobile device doesn't play a part in the video streaming from the drone to either the primary or audience goggles. So, no, if a mobile device is connected to the primary goggles there will be no improvement in the audience goggles quality.

Just updated DJI FPV, now says "Remote ID error" Did i just screw myself?

Sorry to say that the signal problem with the audience goggles can't be fixed. The primary goggles will direct the drone to retransmit a block when an error in the video stream is detected. The audience goggles can only receive video data from the drone - it can't tell the drone to retransmit a...

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

Let's ask some of the members who have actually done this modification. My contribution is to provide the software to display the data. @Kbschaars @LMS_LX82

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

Not sure I understand your question. If you want to see the motor data you'll need to look at the .DAT log file that is recorded on the goggles. First turn off syncing with DJI then retrieve the .DAT using these instructions https://fpvdronepilots.com/threads/dat-available.4225/#post-35016

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

If by "Real .DAT logs" you mean the .DAT on the Avata itself they won't help since those logs are encrypted. The .DAT on the goggles are not encrypted and have a lot of the same data, including motor data, but at a lower sampling rate. To retrieve the goggles .DAT you need to 1) follow the...

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

That's kinda odd. Can you provide a .DAT after replacing the cable?

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

I agree it's not the motor. Why are you going to try swapping back motors. I suspect it's the ESC. Maybe the ESCs are marginal when connected to the Axis 3.5 upgrade.

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

The motor data contains fields that only DJI knows exactly what they mean. In particular, hms_error and dbg1 exist for each motor. I've checked several other Avata .DATs these values are always 0. In the 3 .DATs you provided these fields for the left back motor are not always 0. In the first...

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

That's the right .DAT. I took a detailed look and can not find anything in the .DAT that corresponds to the motor overload messages in the .txt. Quite puzzling. I'll continue to think about it some. But, for now, I have no answers for you.

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

The .DAT will have the name FLY***-924-YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.DAT The .DAT name can be determined by looking at the Data Recorder File Index notification

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

I don't see any evidence of motor load in the .DAT. Overload is usually indicated when commanded thrust (Motor:PPMSend) and current (Motor:Current) increase but speed (Motor:Speed) stays constant. Here is an example from the .DAT where Motor:PPMSend and Motor:Current increase in the back two...

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

Yes, but this .DAT comes from a power up with no flight. If you provide the AirData link I can tell you the name of the .DAT

DJI Avata Axisflying 3.5 upgrade // often "motor overloaded" error message

No. I'm not sure how you got the latest file. But, you didn't use the method described in .DAT available
