    DX6i or DX7?

The DX6 is agreeably easier to program than the DX6i. From my personal experience. and a Used DX6 for $50 does sound pretty awesome deal, Great choice.

    DX6i or DX7?

If you can, spend the few extra $ and get the DX6

    DX6i or DX7?

I think the DX6i is going to be your cheapest option, the DX6/7/8 start getting more pricey. Here's the same topic on the RCGroup forum.

Opinions on the ZMR 250 quadcopter frame

I have an older Contour Cam, that records 720 in 60fps, and the video is really nice compared to the 1080p@30fps, the 120FPS footage should be pretty nice, but would obviously like to see how it handles the compression.

    DX6i or DX7?

I have the DX6, and it is pretty awesome, with a 3 position flight mode switch. My son has a DX6i, and really wishes he had the DX6, so perhaps you might want the DX7, but for your needs, the 6i should be more than enough. I'm not sure what the difference is with the DX7. But you're not going to...

Opinions on the ZMR 250 quadcopter frame

I like the combo of value priced items, Very good choices. I might add a pair of something like this Clover Antenna set. but not critical And I'd be curious as to how much latency(Delay) you might get from the Mobius Live out to the googles, but you're not racing this thing, its for practice...

Cc3d spedix hex with flysky receiver

It's hard to pinpoint the exact issue, but you could have a flaky ESC or connection, or even a motor. Have you calibrated the entire setup after the crash? I used CleanFlight before and it ran you threw a setup process and let you test each motor etc, I haven't used LibrePilot app yet, but...

Opinions on the ZMR 250 quadcopter frame

Hey Ice, what frame did you pick? Joes gave you some great info, thumbs up JoesR.. The ZMR 3mm frame is cheap, and will eventually break. I have a quad similar to the H250 Joes linked above, But as I also broke an arm the other day, see pic, so I'm building a new Q250 frame with 4.75mm...

    Speed Thrills!!

Ya, maybe I just need a bigger bird. I saw a kid with a nano flying in the park with streamers on it, so he wouldn't loose it. I'm not sure how well those would work during and inversion, but might be fun to try.

    Speed Thrills!!

VLOS, lol, as I'm a later vintage adult than most, I find I can't see my 250 if its more than 100m away, but count on nearby kids to help point it out when I'm lost.

I haven't seen the Classified issue I describe on this forum yet, but on other forums. Ideally the Sold items get deleted, or Archived to the Sold section for historical reference.

    MSH Tetras unboxing/build/discussion

Really nice build Jomaba, and a great start to FPV, and quad crashing. As you go through a few more sets of props, I think you will really start to get the feel for what your Tetras can and cannot do. I think you are wise to start with a 3S, but there will be a time, very soon, when you'll want...

Looking for FPV Racers in Vancouver, BC area

I have heard from one other member here who is in the Vancouver area looking for a place to play. but have not seen anyone else post yet. Call for you local Vancouver BC FPV Racer's to post a meet-up or event. Or even some from south of the boarder who want a trip to Canada to play with their...

    Forum Suggestions

So far, the forum is shaping up nicely, as it's so new, we obviously need to see how it developes. I haven't spotted any rude hating going on, just competitive banter, and I haven't seen any spamming from businesses either, so its a 10/10 at this point. Keep up the great Moderating/Admining...
