You really don’t have to worry about that. I’ve used those motors and never had a prop come loose. Just have it tight and the lock nut engaged, really tall props might need a low profile nut. I don’t know where you are but those motors did just come back in stock on unmannedtech for £10.80.

This was the official recruitment video for the Irish defence forces. It was removed from TikTok. They used smoke machines and tap dancers red weapons and the formation looks so broken. It looks like they used FPV drones a lot. I had a higher definition video but it wouldn’t upload.

I am only looking at photos so I'm not sure if it would fit. I would put it in the back behind the stack and cable tie it to the bottom plate. Even if you put it in sideways that should be fine. I don't know of any other options.

How long does it take to happen? If it happens when you were far away it could be just losing signal when getting close to the ground. Also your battery could be low, do you have something on the quad to tell you when the battery reaches 3.5 volts.

Well done. Brushed micro motors can wear out quickly and become less efficient. It hovers close to the ground like that because of ground effect (catching air between the ground and the quad making an efficient high pressure pocket.)

What about soldering? You will need to solder to do repairs. You could get a decent soldering iron and accessories while staying under your budget and if you don't go straight to the difficult things and watch a tutorial it is really easy. Definitely keep some spare money in the budget for when...

Double check that motor 1-2-3-4 match up on the quad and in Betaflight. Sometimes quads behave weirdly when the props are spinning but it doesn't have enough throttle to fly.
