I’ve built a few helical antennas out of trash, here’s the results of my latest range test. 3.25km (2 miles) at 25mw!! Ended up going 6.27km (about 4 miles) using 800mw.
Super impressed! These antennas are made out of old sauce lids and other garbage... I decide to make a quick and dirty DIY to share how easy it can be to make a great antenna. You don’t have to be exact, or even use quality materials to get great results!
