I just built my Armadillo and I used a smoke stopper when I first powered it up and it didn't trip the breaker but I noticed a small amount of smoke and when I touched the back right carbon on the frame it was burning hot. The components aren't only the frame. The SMA connector is hot but not as hot as the frame. Any idea why this is? I'll attach a pic of the area.

Looks sweet baevans. ESC definitely not hot?
No it' not the esc I just took the sma off the frame and it doesn' get hot. Somehow it' sending current through the frame. I' going to try placing rubber o rings on either side of the sma so it doesn' touch the frame. I just wish I knew why it is doing that. Thanks btw. Update the rubber o ings seemed to have done the trick. Weird

You have a short, I always insulate between my esc's and frame
Look for a pinched wire somewhere also

Yeah I have double sided tape under the esc's. The heat was coming from the sma pigtail touching the carbon cause as soon as I took it off the problem was gone and then I put it back on with rubber o rings and the problem is gone.
