Betaflight Receiver not recognizing DJI Remote inputs - wont fly

I purchased the Lumineer Johnny fpv RTF kit from Get FPV, and it came in last week. It won't fly. After looking into the issue on betaflight, I found the GPS was turned off. It still wouldn't fly. When I looked at the receiver tab, I found that the receiver wouldn't get any movement from the sticks on my controller. When calibrating the remote in the DJI v2 headset, It receives info that the sticks are moving, but the channels are frozen at the exact midpoints as it reads on betaflight. I have no idea where things are plugged in on the FC, as I did not build it. GetFPV has not been returning any of my emails due to them being in the middle of Hurricane Ian so any outside suggestions would help. I also tried to reflash with a textfile they provided on the website page of the drone, but when I uploaded it to the cli, I got multiple name errors. I was told that I still needed to configure the output map in crossfire, but was given no explanation on how the dji remote would have an output map.

Which remote controller are you using? The DJI FPV v2 system does not work with the Gen 2 RC.
