Hi all, I am new to racing drones and just bought an Eachine Wizard X220S (ARF).
I have a FlySky i6S transmitter and an FS-X6B receiver that I am trying to install.
I fitted everything together using the ibus port and protocol in beta flight and all worked okay for about ten minutes. After a while I had no response from the control channels.
I disconnected everything, did a factory reset and new binding but it still didn’t work.
Going through the TX settings I noticed it has ibus and sbus, so I selected sbus on the transmitter and changed the protocol in beteflight to sbus. Everything has started working again. The end points needed a lot of adjustment but it all appears okay now.
Is this setup okay? Has anyone else come across the same issue?
Why would it work in sbus mode but not ibus mode? I was told all FlySky uses sbus and the port on the rx was labelled ibus?
Any advice greatly received as I done want it to stop responding again out in the field.
Thanks. Gee.
