Fpv range??

What the average range for say a 5 inch quad and say fat shark dominator v3's and a foxeer arrow v3 600tvl Also what's some of your experiences in the range you fly personally

Easier to answer with a touch more information.....what transmitter in the quad, what receiver for the FS Dom V3 and what antennas are you using?
As a side note, regardless of FPV components....range test the system before flying the first time....might save a crash and worst yet, a lost drone.

This is the vtx and the fs receiver. I would be using a mad mushroom and immersion rc patch antenna on goggles and a clover or another mad mushroom on the quad

If your antennas are good and installed properly and that vtx is set at 600 mw, You'll have 1 mile + range in an open space

The radios and receivers were developed for los and have a range accordingly (as far as you can see)

But what kind of power drain does setting it up at 600mw have? Does it take 25% of your runtime away?
