Help! Having major headache trying to pair Avata and Goggles 2.

I've been trying to get my new Avata and Goggles 2 working. Have been through the process several times and still not there. I"m wondering if I have bad device or the device has a bad owner. Can someone give me a comment on a quick test I can run to see if the goggles and drone are paired? The motion controller works fine so I have it right. Sorry to come into the forum with a rookie problem. Kinda comes with being a rookie I guess.

What's the problem exactly? Saying the MC works fine suggests the goggles would too?
