Help with a few things

hi all

I have brought a storm Loki second hand.
It’s in great conditions but I’m having some issues.

When in stability mode and horizon mode the quad is pushing forward but in Acro mode it’s fine.

Also I can’t get it to connect to beta flight it’s say the firmware isn’t supported.

Any help would be great

i have typed version into the CLI on beta flight and the firmware was last updated on the 19 feb 2016

Did you download the 2 files you need to connect?
(cp210x and stm drivers)

Hi i downloaded one from the beta flight home and the drivers allow me to connect to quad but won't allow me to get into anything, i have read the older firmware will not recognise in beta flight.
I'm wondering if i need to flashy FC but am worried that i may not do i right as I'm new.
but i don't know anyone that are into quads
