Motion controller 2 compatible with DJI FVP

Does anyone know if the DJI motion controller 2 is compatible with the DJI FVP drone? I have the googles 2 and controller 2 but I have the first generation motion controller, I like the improvements of the MC2 has, but I don't want to waste money if it is not compatible, thank you!

I just did a update on my DJI FPV drone and googled and it says it supports motion controller 2 , is this right ?
