Just wanted to say a quick hello from Northern Virginia. Longtime owner of the (original) Mavic Pro. Have an Avata inbound later this week.
The Mavic was (and is) a great drone. But when out-of-sight it can be a little disorienting... the small screen on my iPhone, attached to the RC, leaves much to be desired. I've long felt that an FPV solution was needed.
Photography and cinematography are my primary interests. But ham radio is another of my hobbies, and at some point I'd like to explore being able to use an FTP drone (not the Avata - as it's too small) to pull wire antennas up into the air and place them in and around trees.
