Hi All,

Good day! I'm just a new member and created here yesterday,

I just want to ask you guys your opinion regarding FPV DJI Avata, which do you recommend as by early next will want to own FPV Avata

What are "pros" and "cons" on this drone since this will be my first time and planning to learn how to fly drones while at it. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

Nice to meet you all, thanks and god bless! :)

I have the Avata 1 which you can probably get for a good price used from Drone Nerds or here in the classified forum. The Avata 2 is out with better camera specs if you're interested in doing real estate interiors or other fly throughs. I think DJI also fixed a problem where if you go too acrobatic, the drone looses control and may crash. If you want to eventually do more acrobatic stuff you'll need a different drone, but those drones take a long time to master and it's best to start out on a simulator because you'll crash constantly.

The best thing about the Avata is that you'll be able to fly it right out of the box. Using GPS it is so easy to fly, if you get into trouble you can hit the brake button and the drone will stop and hold position. Most other FPV drones don't have GPS and the drone will be pushed around by wind and will not hold position without controller input from you, which can take months to master. With the Avata you can slowly learn to fly and switch between GPS mode and full manual mode which you'll need the DJI FPV Drone Remote Controller 2 to do that.

Best advice for whichever drone you chose, find wide open space, stay away from trees, and don't be tempted to fly in your backyard at first.

Good Luck
