Not yet mastered Sports mode close to objects at 100 km/h. Does not seem worth spending half a lifetime in manual mode to get 120 km/h.

The fastest I can get is 150 km/h and that is with a tail wind, against the wind it can hardly get up to 80 km/h.
Am I doing something wrong here?

80-110 is about right. It looks and feels so much better and more fluid though... It's about the control, not the speed.
