Rx Antenna Placement

Whats your rx antenna placement look like on your mini? I chewed up one of mine today and don't have many spares. Is it a bad idea to have them secured under the legs due to proximity to the carbon fiber? We used to hot glue coffee stirrers as antenna guides but hoping there's a less ghetto hack way now.

Scratch that. I see what people are doing these days wrapping it around the front and under the front arms. Then using a zip tie and leaving the ends to form a guide and heat shrinking the antennas along with them. So clever lol.

Heres another way. My Cerberus all have them coming off the arms. The Sköll is done differently. For the vertical antenna I Used two ziptie and run the antenna up between them for better protection.

and the mini and micro...
micro 2" on the front arms and mini 3" on the back arms

Nice man. I usually have the rx mounted in back with coffee stirrer antenna ears swept back on the top plate but now that I'm going top mounted lipos that don't work. I also thought about sweeping forward from the rear arms like your last pic but worried about the drag pushing it back into an antenna. From the front arms, that wouldnt happen. Also looks kinda wicked from the front lol.

the 5" Flyno Cerberus has two convenient holes already in the hood.

I think it depends on the build and quad configuration. I too like the way front arm mounting looks and its alot less likely to get bent back into the props.
