Sold my DJI FPV - Does it have to be unbound from my phone for it to be used by new owner?

I am a bit sad about it, but I sold my DJI FPV. Do I have to do anything for it to
work for the new owner, or does he simply set it up on his phone?

I don't know if this is directly relevant, but I just bought a used Mini-1. I now have all three of the existing Mini variants.

I've been using my phone for my Mini-2s for almost a year. I just plugged it into the Mini-1 controller, and it worked fine.

On my first flight with it, it thought that it was in "Payload Mode", and it had pretty severe flight restrictions. Those restrictions vanished on the second flight, with no action on my part.

If you registered it before remember to tell the feds that you sold it so new owner can use serial number.
