While I’ve filmed at this event before (mavic 2 / inspire 2) this was my first time doing it FPV with the new DJI Drone. I was only able to burn through 3 batteries over 3 hours. The other fpv pilots made me take turns doing ½ battery laps because the dji battery advantage (ha). I was impressed how easily I was able to jam this thing up on cars and have gauge height and distance.
Will be working my way to doing this again but in M mode. With the greater top speed I should be able to stay with the cars on the long straight between corners.
have you found drift racing in your area? If not - seek it out! More fun than I could have imagined.
