Vtx wiring??help??

so I go to plug in my new vtx to my fc and the plugs not the same or same size. So I figured I could use the new vtx wiring and then realize the camera the ex/tx and the video wires are all spliced to te vtx plug from my old vtx. What do I do. Splice from my new wire into all the ones the old one was or no?? Is the vtx not useable for my fc?

You have a Tramp, they are the only ones I know that use that connector style. In the box should have been a number of harnesses, you need to solder the wires from the right harness for your application to the proper locations on the FC or wherever they should be going. You will almost never have the perfect connector to go from point A to point B, you will need to do some amount cutting off what you don't need and do some amount of custom installation. That vTX will work just fine, if you continue to have issues, shoot me a PM and we can chat on the phone and do a video chat if needed to get you straightened out. We can also talk a bit about soldering then, I am MilSpec/Nasa certified (35+ years ago) on soldering and I may be able to help.

Yes thank you to all. Sorry for no answer just tried putting that time into the build and figuring it out. I’m happy to say besides the betaflight part I’m done with the build and will be posting pics of my sexy a$$ bird in a while maybe tomorrow
