What are the DJI FPV available SW mods?

Multiple YouTubes, and a few Threads.
Many apply only to the FPV Digital Air Unit system, not the DJI FPV kit.

Would be great to see a list that indicates what applies to the FPV craft kit.

If in USA, is there any transmission improvement? I'm assuming not.

What other mods... software hack... free or purchased are available for V2 Goggles, RC, or FPV drone?

the only 'hack' is the FCC, so not applicable to US owners.

the thing is, there no-one has reversed engineered anything...
the 'hacks' basically are just invoking behaviour that already exists in firmware that are 'activated' by the DJI Fly app. these can be found, by looking at the data send from the app to the drone, which is a relative straightforward thing to do.


there are two possibilies I can see coming (as can be discovered by similar means)
a) alternative remote view app - so same as dji fly, but just a different app.
(wont be able to have OSD info, as dji fly doesn't, so it unlikely its being transmitted by goggles)

b) video input to goggles - goggles present themselves as a usb class compliant video capture device, but we need the data stream that activates the input. IF DJI Virtual Sim becomes available on andriod this will be relatively easy to work out.


apart from that, there are a few tools around, that use the dji flight logs - e.g. there is an app that can overlay things like stick positions, speed onto videos.


but given the firmware for googles/drone is all closed source, unlikely we will see anything that changes the behaviour of the system.

Ive not used it, but this is the one Ive seen others use , seems pretty flexible.
note: as I said above, its 'post production'...
