What do I have here?

I picked up this drone and I know pretty much nothing about it other than it is fast, fun and tough as nails. Lol

So can anyone tell me what model, make, etc? I think it is pretty old.

Anything anyone can tell me about it would be great.

Can you take the top plate off and take a photo. Also a photo of the writing on the side of the motors. Do you have a radio batteries and charger?

I do have a radio. It is a Spektrum dx6i. The tx/rcvr is Spektrum ar 610 iirc. I am not home now. The batteries I have are 3s 1300 and 2200 lipo 30c packs. Motors are Storm Racing series. Iirc 2204 2300kv. Esc’s are sealed and there is zero info I can see so far.

To add some more details.

It does fly. I figured out how to bind it to the TX and after a bit of fiddling with reversing some controls so it flew the direction it was supposed to it seems to work well. It is fast. I am ised to dji drones and this thing is way way faster than any I have flown in sport mode. The gent I got it from said he bought it from some kid in CA years ago so it is pretty old. The props are 5”.

I was told that a shop turned the settings down using Clearflight so I assume I will eventually need that for tuning.

I have another drone, a Qx350 that has a Runcam camera setup added to it with a 5.8g radio. The video is way better than this drone so I want to put that camera on this drone. Are cameras interchangeable between radios? I am thinking I should keep the newer radio with the Runcam and swap them both into the racing drone as a set. I think this because I am not sure if the radio in the racer will transmit the higher quality video if it is even compatible. Comments?

I would guess they bought something like this or what version of this was available. It might have had parts replaced or be completely custom built. Definitely had to be built. If the motors spin consistently from your hand and the lower tips of the arms aren't worn back then it has not been flown much. If it's an old battery put it on a flame resistant surface and stay near while charging as if it was stored at full charge or treated incorrect it could have a high internal resistance. So for the first few cycles be extra careful with the battery.

ESC's could be 12amp 3s Simonk or similar.
The frame could be a copy of the Lumenier qav250.
The writing on the side of the motor has their name.
It could have a pdb bottom plate thing.

Ok so I am learning here.

As far as batteries, I am very familiar with lipo as I use a giant lipo pack for my ebikes. I already recycled two of the batteries that came with it because they are puffed up and one gets hot while charging. No risks taken there and thanks for mentioning it in case I didn’t know.
I see that the frame/chassis/pdb at least came all together as a kit. Motors are Storm brand MT2204 2300kv. The whole bottom of the drone is two pieces, a pdb and a matching bottom plate. It has replaceable skid plate/landing pad things on the bottom of the front and all 4 arms that are pretty beat up. It has certainly seen it’s fair share of abuse. I am the third owner that I know of and I, and the last guy, had no experience at all with a racing drone. The kid that built it was a racer and probably crashed it hard too. I have crashed it BAD twice screwing around in my back yard. Too many trees around for a novice to be playing with it. That and it was windy and I panicked. Lol. It holds up very well.

I am sure I will have more questions and I thank you very much for helping with them.

I did find ONE shop to go to that know their stuff about drones but they are a two hour ride from here. It will be worth the trip. They were the folks who installed the Runcam on the QX350 I have and reprogrammed this drone for the previous owner to be slower than it was.
