Do you mean ELRS SPI? It's on board ELRS ( built-in into flight controller ), not a separate chip. It uses SPI (think about it as an internal port) to talk with a flight controller, instead of a regular UART (think about it as an external port).

Yes, I've heard it too. Actually, my drone died after a small crash, but I've heard motors were spinning like a crazy (making unusual load noise). Maybe somehow it is possible to limit motors power to 95% in Betaflight to prevent this from happening.

My new Happymodel Mobula 6 19000KV Frsky stopped to work after a few flies. I used 450mAh 80C Lipo HV instead of recommended 300mAh 30C Lipo Battery. BTW, in hindsight I've realized when I charged the battery with my Hota D6 Pro I had chosen in battery type Lipo instead of LipoHV.
