What are the real-world advantages to non-DJI props?

Are you using VLC MediaPlayer for your video files? I use it and it does display the information you noted (mine looks identical to yours) but other programs don't show this. Yes the start up "shutter" seems dramatic but I thought it was just me LOL

Out of curiosity, is there a FW version that is NOT desirable? I don't even know what version my FPV is LOL. Anything I need to watch out for?
