Yes... and for whatever reason it does not matter which goggles are the primary, the "audience" or "copilot" goggles does not get nearly as good a signal. I swapped them back and forth binding, unbinding, swapping, re-binding to no avail. I will work on this again when I get a chance.... and...

Hello All, I had not updated my FPV model in forever..... for reasons just like this. The bird was flying perfectly and I bought a second set of goggles so I could have a "copilot" fly along with me and these goggles had the latest firmware, so I figured I should update my other equipment...

I do know that some of the DJI drones other than the avata and fpv models do work with the DJI goggles however you have to use the motion controller which sucks in my opinion

Comparable to FPV drones not regular drones. So yes the flight time for the Avata is considered very good. What you lose in flight time you gain in maneuverability and speed. Personally if the M3 or Mini 3 were goggles compatible that would be my choice. I do not need a racer but love the goggles.

Regardless of design (this design looks way cool!) if the new Mini 4, or current MP3 or future MP4 for that matter is FPV, take my money now. Normally i upgrade immediately to a new model soon after release and sell off my old one - but not being goggles compatible has curbed my usual buying...
