Set the meter to VDC. You should read between 9Vdc to 24 Vdc depending on your flight controller and battery. Be careful not to short your meter leads together.

Can you be more specific about what problem you're having? It sounds like you're saying the O3 powers on when you plug in a USB, but it's not powering on when you power on your quad. Is that correct?
