Totally unexciting video for everyone except me 😃

I bought a Flywoo Flylens 75 with the DJI O3 and DJI PNP Receiver protocol. I've been mucking with it occasionally for the past month. I was able to finally fly it for the duration of an entire battery (550 mAh -- about 2 minutes) without crashing it. I moved up to Betaflight 4.5 the past few...

I found this article which answers most of my questions.

    In need of basic help

I’ve flown DJI camera drones like the Inspire and Mavic. When I push the right stick forward, they move at a speed forward proportional to how far I have moved the stick. If I release the stick, they stop and hover. My first question is: what is this mode called? (I assume it has a name)...

Where / what is the “arm switch” on the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2?

Ahhh yea… You have to do that with one of the DJI things. I can’t remember which. USB-C to USB-A to USB-C and then the Mac can see the DJI device…. Thank you for reminding me.

Where / what is the “arm switch” on the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2?

Making progress… I successfully had my first crash. Lots of stuff to learn. I’m using a M1 MBP with BetaFlight Configurator. It would not recognize my drone when I plugged it into the USB / Thunderbolt ports on the MBP. Luckily I have a monitor driven by Thunderbolt that also has a USB hub...

Where / what is the “arm switch” on the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2?

Ok. I’ve never played with it but it’s the weekend so …

Where / what is the “arm switch” on the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2?

I just received a Flywoo FlyLens 75 2S BNF Whoop HD w/ DJI O3 with PNP receiver. I have the DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2. I hooked it up to the computer and got the air unit activated. I got the goggles and controller to link. I set the “PID PROF” to 1 because I have...

    Indoor FPV drone suggestions

Thank you to both of you. I’m surfing around finding all kinds of interesting stuff. Sometimes I wish I lived in Russia where there is only one choice (I’m joking).

    Indoor FPV drone suggestions

I have an Avata and might buy the Avata 2 which implies that I have DJI’s controllers and goggles. I am wanting to learn how to fly it in manual mode. The simulator makes me sick and I’ve been told that that is common. The past few months have been extremely wet (rainy) and if it isn’t rainy...

    Avata settings in manual mode

Slightly off topic… I used the simulator yesterday. I discovered (dahhh), that the mode switch on the controller has to be set to manual mode. This also requires that that “custom” setting be set to manual mode in the settings. After this, the simulator acts much more like the real drone...

Why are my Avata Video limited to 3min 45sec?

Yea. I can’t disagree with that. Please update us on your results with Gyroflow.

Why are my Avata Video limited to 3min 45sec?

You might want to go to the DJI official forums, create an account, and add this as a request / complaint. If you create a fresh account, I believe you must reply to other threads a few times before you get enough points to post a new thread (at least it use to be that way). I happen to have a...

Practical Question: can I fly down a windy river or hiking trail?

The purpose of the 2nd observer is to keep the drone within the line of sight. What I'd like to do is fly down a windy creek or river. Or, similarly, fly down a hiking path in the woods. There is no way that any single observer is going to be able to keep the drone in sight. An example of...

    Flying under metal foot bridge

I want to fly my Avata up a small stream and under a foot bridge but I haven't tried it yet because I'm worried the foot bridge might block the signal. The bridge is 100% metal and extremely solid. No way signals are going to go through it but, of course, they could go under and around it...

Suggest a drone for me to build...

I have DJI drones: Mavic 3 Cine and Avata. Which means I have DJI controllers and goggles. Can someone suggest a drone for me to build where I would not need to buy other goggles and controller? I want to just get my feet wet in FPV, building drones, etc.
