Have you double checked your ports tab in betaflight ?

    Soldering problem

If you are going to build more than one drone you should invest in a quality soldering station. I have a HAKKO FX-888D. Might be a bit of overkill but works nicely. And you can buy one for about the price of the board you just fried. I would probably try a medium chisel tip first. To make a...

what are the current FPV racers?

I own a DJI FPV Drone. It is an awesome quadcopter. But for the reasons you have already mentioned. It is not a great candidate for being a racing drone. Fragile, Heavy (it is carrying all of those sensors and large amounts of micro processing capability which are doing absolutely nothing...

    DJI FPV combo motor KV?

You can buy the original DJI motors. I think I paid about $20 for each. No specs but at that price it wouldn't be worth looking for off brand motors, in my opinion.

    Normal/Sport mode on dji controller

In Velocidrone you choose your flight mode right on the main screen (the one you fly in) in the upper right hand corner. Hover over the right side of the screen with your pointer to bring up the on screen controls, although I think the flight mode is always displayed. Rate = Acro/Manual...

Connect DJI Black Radio to Vista Nano?

I'll try to answer some of your questions. 1 Is the sbus on the FC dedicated to a receiver control inputs? Yes it is dedicated to whatever receiver is wired to that pad. note wiring 2 receivers to that pad at the same time will not work . 2 The fact that my Vista card has an sbus...

Connect DJI Black Radio to Vista Nano?

What do you want to use as a RC, an Frsky or compatible Controller or the DJI FPV Remote Controller? If you already have the DJI FPV Remote Controller it would be a good option. From the picture you have posted of your drone it look like it is set up for the iflight controller or other FrSky...

Connect DJI Black Radio to Vista Nano?

Some people like myself, like the vista system over other systems because of the quality of the video and the fact that it works with the DJI goggles. I am sticking with my Frsky Controller because I already have it plus spare receivers and I'm to cheap to pay $300 for the DJI Controller. I...

DJI FPV Flight Sim - Made me sick LOL

Actually I have been able to hook up my DJI remote controller 2 to the velocidrone sim. I have the sticks only, for every other control feature I have to use the mouse. The hookup though is not straight forward. I found the lead on how to do it on this forum but I had to research a few...

DJI FPV Flight Sim - Made me sick LOL

Wouldn't any other simulator such as Velicidrone be just as good as the DJI simulator for training for manual mode on the DJI FPV?

DJI FPV Flight Sim - Made me sick LOL

For me I find the faster and harder I fly has a direct relation to the amount of motion sickness I feel. So far I haven't had a large enough abundance of cash to go out and buy an apple device just to run the DJI simulator. I have been using the Velocidrone simulator for a few years though...

connect 2 batteries with parallel to drone

What I meant to say is that some larger LiPo batteries come from the factory with cells wired in parallel. You can buy commercially made adapters to connect lipo batteries in parallel, so I believe that they would not risk the liability if this were dangerous in and of itself. Lipo batteries...

connect 2 batteries with parallel to drone

Just to be clear, I have not actually connected two drone batteries in parallel yet. I have connected in series to make a 2s battery pack out of 1s batteries.

connect 2 batteries with parallel to drone

As long as both batteries are identical and in good health (no swelling or extreme voltage sags under power) I don't see why not. Make sure all the cells in both batteries are charged to the same level. After the flight if all the cells have discharged to identical levels I think it would be...
