Hey everyone,
I need some help troubleshooting a weird Airmode issue on a recent build.
Setup:
• Frame: Volador II VD5
• FC: GEPRC TAKER H7
• Settings: Airmode always enabled (Configuration tab). Motor idle is set to 5.5%.
The Problem:
The drone flies perfectly with Airmode off—smooth, locked in, and the tune feels great. But with Airmode on, it completely loses control in two specific scenarios:
1. Mid-rotation: If I try a roll or a flip, it goes crazy mid-maneuver.
2. Throttle cuts: If I do a hard throttle punch and rapidly drop the sticks to zero, it freaks out violently on the descent.
Motor order, directions, and props are all verified. Since it flies beautifully at normal throttle with Airmode off, I'm stumped on why the PID loop is fighting itself so hard during low-throttle or high-rate movements.
Any ideas on what to check next?
Thanks!
