Anyone managed to do a cheaper lipo type batt for the avata? Locally additional batts are not available yet and they are hellish exp
was thinking the same volltage lipo may be an option ?

The latching mechanism is integral with the battery. Also, the fact that if the battery is not seated correctly, the drone will not respond to commands from the controller.
