Hey guys, I've just unpacked and connected my new Radiomaster Boxer ELRS

I am totally newb to FPV, wanted kinda learn the stuff in simulator first, Liftoff was chosen

The matter is: I calibrated the gimbals in the game menu, but when it comes to training the drone does not hover in free flight mode, it starts drifting off sideways and back a little bit, while I am trying to catch at one altitude with throttle

I decided to give it a manual calibration, and when I choose a channel I can see that the gimbals are not zeroed, if you know what I mean - the pitch channel is 0.002 instead of 0.000 and jumping rapidly +/- 1, and the roll is 0.003 and doing the same thing. I kinda fixed that with a deadband option, but

Is this normal for a brand new controller or is it not?

Thank you

Sounds normal.
It is expected you'll have to constantly "fight" to hover in place with a common FPV drone, better start training :)
