Hey guys??? It's been found. I don't know how much or if any damage to it because I'm at work, but mt wife snap chatted me with my drone sitting ontop if my boat in my shed.
I had rang the orchard owner when I lost it and told him I'll be going through his rows to try find it.
I can only assume he or one of his workers would've found it and brought it to my house. I tried ringing him but couldn't get through.
Can't wait to get home

I just got home and put another battery on it and it still works fine, nothing happened to it, even battery was still exactly where it was on the bird. One thing though. I did notice that one of the outside cells on the battery feels like it has expanded abit. It feels squishy, like it has air in it. Do you think I should charge it and see what happens? or better throw it away?

Not sure if you can see it from the pic. It's not a huge balge or anything but it feels a bit different/fatter20180129_164250.jpg

Fantastic news Solly, so glad you got your bird back. Imho if in doubt, throw it out. Lipo batteries can be nasty if they have had a bad knock.
Having said that I’ve had some heavy hits and still fine.?

My copter flew away over some trees toward the houses so I dumped it before going to far. In the pool. The lady asked is that waterproof. Dried it with the hair dryer and worked good for a few weeks then had intermittent problems

looks puffed to me, puffing is a sign you are not using a high enough C rating
I am too new to disagree with you VV, but it's a 50C battery, and a total flight time of around 90 seconds on that puffed battery. My guess is that it puffed because of the hard landing maybe. Although as I said, everything works and there's nothing broken. It obviously landed flat the right way up. Maybe killing the motors was the right thing to do at the time

Oh no, out of all places, in the pool. I hope you manage to fix the intermittent problems
