In another thread that got a bit crossed up, it was said, 'Being that the FAA is using folks videos to prosecute them, they are much safer if they don't post any.'. I don't understand the reference to the FAA using folks videos to prosecute them. The implication I got was that they were viewing online videos and evaluating them and potentially prosecuting folks based on that. That seems a bit far fetched. Would somebody elaborate? There are plenty of videos online that break FAA rules. Videos of distance tests, instructional videos with one person using an FPV and nobody watching the drone....the list goes on and on. Can somebody point to examples of the FAA searching out videos and prosecuting people based on a youtube video or am on not getting it?
