Fligh time

Hello all.
Complete drone newbie here. I have background in 3d helis. I picked up an armatton rooster with the mamba diatone m722 mini.
Finally got the thing flying with spektrum dx8. I'm using 4s 1500 mah. Getting about 3 minutes flight time. I want to extend that by quite a bit. How should I go about that?
I do already plan on lowering the motor output and making the controls less sensitive.

3 minutes is not a lot! Is that battery new?

First things first, consider upgrading to a higher capacity battery. Switching to a 5s or even 6s battery with a higher mAh rating can significantly increase your flight time. Just make sure the new battery is compatible with your setup. Additionally, keep an eye on your flying style. Smooth, controlled maneuvers can help conserve energy. Avoid aggressive throttle punches and excessive maneuvers that drain the battery quickly.
