My goggles picked up the signal but no picture. There was also a time when it did the same thing and I had to replace the receiver in my goggles.

Did you have same googles - Eachine EV100? Well, I will know more when I get my second googles on wednesday I believe, I ordered Aomway commander so if they dont show me any video, its most likely to be that VTX.

No I have the HeadPlay V1 goggles. I haven't been able to convince myself that spending $400-$600 on a pair of goggles will make me a better pilot or the FPV experience any better. Let us know what takes care of your issue
