I’m cori / raincoder - a new FPV pilot from Wi. I’ve been flying some DJI camera drones for the last year or so and started to dig into FPV in the fall and over the winter.
Spending a lot of time in the sim and just starting to get some real air time with a couple of tiny whoops indoors and a little 3” I built. Still struggling with acro mode lol.
Mostly interested in learning Acro and cinematic footage - not that competitive nor near any leagues to get heavily into racing ATM. Also a sucker for firmware twiddling - I came to this hobby after exhausting the amount i could rationalize spending on mechanical keyboards :-D
Still faffing around with the 3” (handles ok to my untrained sticks but lots of VTx dropouts) but starting to plan my next build: thinking a 3.5”-5” cinewhoop-style body - a mid-sized ducted pusher like the SpeedyBee 35 Pro; i have a DJI O3 Unit waiting for install….
