Im new here and new to droning So enjoying hearing others advice to help me become a better pilot.
I do fly small single engine aircraft and I have a degree in auto nautical science so I’m not new to flying just piloting drones.

I hit the RTH button down for a few seconds and it just stays put. It does not return at all.

The gps is work fine and it says that it in RTH mode but it doesn’t move

Sure you don’t have it set to hover.

Maybe, I’ll have check but it is still in factory settings so, not sure.

Welcome to the forum, and it does sound like you have the RTH set to hover, go into the menu and reset it to RTH.. also adjust the height at which it will return so it will miss local obstacles.
