Is it rude? Or am I being unreasonable?

Happens to me all the time some don't seem to realise others follow me around the place obviously being awkward. Wasn't able to fly at all the other day every time I set up someone came running into my area. If people are playing sport I don't set up a picnic in the middle of the field! Unfortunately a lot of people have nothing better to do than go around looking for a fight. I just smile and walk away but one couple got glared at before I gave up and went home fed up.

Haha, I don't have any problem walking up and asking if they'd mind moving if I was there first and not quite on the air yet. Nicely of course so they don't call authorities, but when in the air I've had problems landing cause I'm all off sudden crowded (normally people who are not interested) and my immediate area is unsafe. I'll normally just shout out "landing! Please keep clear" just like you would at an AMA field. I never mind people coming up to talk about the aircraft cause I can just be like "stick close to me so I know where you're at". Typically its little kids and they show up out of nowhere cause I ALWAYS make sure it's empty (enough) before I go up.

But I can't ask an off leash dog to stand clear lol, kids and people tend to listen, not animals.

I have a decent sized backyard and a slow and small drone, so flying gets me out of my wife's hair and provides a testosterone reload.

I really do wonder if it is going to take a serious accident or a death before Joe Public notices drones are dangerous when treated with contempt, well at least the contempt with which they treat the pilot. Same again today out flying in borderline winds. Loads of unleashed dogs around with one trying to j7 p up at my aircraft. The owner? A good three or four hundred yards away! Thankfully i didn’t get the horse rider whose horse doesn’t like the noise so “can you not fly your machine” and to make it more awkward I will direct my horse straight to you.
I don’t ask much just fair winds and a GPS, to steer her by, and perhaps a little understanding that we have to share this planet and there is room for us all.
