I have a isdt q6 plus charger and I was looking at the iSDT CP16027 Power Supply (27V/6A/160W) but it says it's only 160watts. Does that mean I won't get the full use of the q6 plus because it's output is 300watts. Thanks for any help. Also I have the power supply from Banggood 12v 30a 360watt power supply for the q6 plus but it didn' come with any instructions does anyone know how to wire this up?15153439373291266769955.jpg 15153439721531445229905.jpg 1515343983208452525950.jpg

You will only get 6 amps out of the iSDT Q6 Plus with the CP16027 power supply attached to it, so no, you will not be able to use the full capability of the Q6 Plus with that setup.

The Banggod supply should be pretty simple, I looked at it on the website but I think they show it wired up incorrectly and incompletely.

The 3 prong power plug that goes to AC from your wall socket goes to the 3 screws on the right
The green and yellow goes to the Ground symbol screw
The blue goes to the N labeled screw
the brown goes to the L labeled screw

The XT60 should go to the +V and -V screws (any of the 3 in the + or - section)
The black wire should go to one of the 3 screws in the -V section
The red wire should go to one of the 3 screws in the +V section.

Test for your +12v to be on the XT60 with your voltmeter to be sure I am right before you plug it into the Q6 Plus.
And last but not least, these Banggood supplies have had some premature failures reported, and it can be dangerous with the connections out in the open like that, so be very careful.

And since I can't be there to look over your shoulder you will need to do this all very carefully at your own risk.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Thanks I appreciate the help. Do you know of a better alternative to power this other directly from a Lipo of course?

I have an AC/DC unit, I plug it into the wall at home, and use a car battery in the field.
