I've got one from way back. It's fun and looks cool but definitely lacks any kind of power.
Yeah, its probably heavy but i have some sets of spintec motors i could use on it if its too slow. Do you think its worth $50?

I think it is. I actually brought mine out & am donating it to a co-workers 10yr old kid.
I had another toy quad with that transmitter, the range wasn't bad on that one, i gave it to a neighbors kid...lol. I've given several away actually, for a while my thing was buying toy quads and putting aio cam/vtx's on them..... then i built a 5"...lol. The toy quads lost their appeal pretty quick...lol

I've still got Hubsan H107C w/FPV monitor in the control. It was my first FPV quad but I really didn't know what I had at the time. I remember I got it right before the first Whoop was available. I flew one away. Ordered another and have replaced many shells.
Yup, my first was the hubsan x4 w/the transmitter/video monitor combo. After changing shells a few times, i built it on an carbon fiber frame.

I hear ya Virtue! I just gotta get caught up on the last purchases and then I'm sure I will find a few dollars to throw at this
Right now I seem to be having ESC issues every time I go to (try and) fly so I am going to spend the little I have on ESC's to keep me in the air as much as possible. I need to get better at flying, I got the "buying tons of stuff" part down pat! lol ;-)
Hope you get your ESC's worked out soon. I'm definitely not buying anything else for a good while, at least till after christmas. I'm waiting on a set of motors to finish my stretch 6" build and i'm done for a while.
Thanks Vv, I don’t think I have a motor issue, but I may change out the motor since I have some coming, I figure it’s just a fluke that I’ve landed on the number 1 motor a few times but I will figure it out in time. Until then I will be brushing up on my soldering skills
