Just put together a CineSplore from FPV cycle and I'm really impressed. It's a pretty straightforward ducted design, but he designed 2203 motors specifically for the application, and it's amazing. Paired with the settings he's provided in the new version of EMUflight, it flies like a robot straight out of the box. I've never built a quad and put in PID and filter settings totally blind, and I would have never believed it would work as well as it did.
On top of handling better than any ducted quad I've flown, it's also the quietest BY FAR. It sounds like a little gripe, but some of my old ducted quads sounded like Satan on a bullhorn. This one sounds like a Dyson vacuum with the 5 blade ducted props.
