Problems Protek35 and DJI Air Unit

DJI Air Unit and Protek 35


I have a Protek 35 and have installed a DJI Air Unit in it.

Connected wit a fitting cable ( connector to connector ) no soldering required.
I hav a black dji digital ontroller and have bound with Goghles. And controller.
I have more quads with Caddx Vista and they work great.
Caddx uses different cable and connector. Soldered to Caddx unit.

I have bound them ( green lights)
I have video.
I hav OSD data.
I have selected the right ports.
Selected an spektrum RX
Selected Sbus
Betaflight sees the FC.
I can run the motors through Betaflight.

BUT see no response of the receiver input.

Have tried to change Sbus and Data.
Have hearted about Sbus Baud Fast.
Have put this in CLI and saved.
Also changed to fast in goggles.

NO reveiver response.

You could thing that the FC is broken. Or the Air Unit BUT

I have also tried the Caddx vista.

And had tried the same with another Protek 35 and Air Unit. And Caddx vista.

Same results.


So 2 Protek FC boards. Both with Air Unit and Caddx.

What am I missing. Overlooking.
Seems everything works. I " JUST" have no receiverdata.
( Controller works Fine ( now) with the others drones.)
Remember. I have done this before. I have multiple FPV Quads with Caddx units.

I found them extremely easy yo set up.

Please rescue me before I go insane.

I feel your pain! Been there, done that, many times. What I usually do in a situation like this, is to start over from the beginning. I also plug in a different drone to beta flight, and compare all the settings. It's usually just a silly button that isn't checked, or should be un-checked. Please post when you find the problem, so we can all learn. Merry Christmas!

If i have another Protek35 which works 100%,( i have one) could I then copy all the settings from "diff all" in Betaflight from that one to the problem Protek? And how??
