Remote ID from DJI on everything?????

Downloaded the latest update and ---YES--I had to hook up the phone with the DJI app open. Since the goggles were connected to my FPV, I was told I had to power it up to update so I could use the goggles for the Avata. Got the Avata working, but then I have to do the same thing for the FPV also. Will not take off without the phone connected, just like the Avata.

So my first question is, "Does this mean the FPV also has Remote ID operating?"

Second question, while trying to register both with the FAA, they are asking for a remote ID number. How do I find that?

The DJI FPV does not have an accepted Declaration of Compliance from the FAA. But since you have the goggles updated, it likely needs to know it's GPS to launch.

Annoying, but not the end of the world. And you can unplug your phone once you lift off. It will only display a "remote ID error" warning on the lower right corner. It will fly fine. You'll need to reattach the phone each time you change batteries though.
