Spektrum dxe for fpv event pe sim?

I use a Spektrum dxe for my phoenix sim because I have dx6e to fly with and it has no ports. Anyways I downloaded the fpv event pe rotor rush software and it doesn't recognize my tx. Anyone know of a solution to this problem. I emailed the software company but I figured I'd ask here too. Thx for any help.

for the dx6e they make a dongle, its a wireless device for connecting via usb

Do you know which one cause I've tried one and it doesn't work. I also started another thread on connecting my friends radiolink at9. When trying to configure it it recognizes the throttle but not pitch a nd roll I don't know anything about this tx. Do you have any familiarity with this issue?
