Standard Gate Sizes

I am working on making race courses in my backyard for 3 & 4-inch brushed quads. What would a be a good height and width for gates?

Well, I have a few pool noodle hoops and a large hula hoop but I would like to make something more consistent and uniform (better looking) to make better courses. I have a large backyard to work with.
