Throtle Delay Problem

I've noticed that, while doing my first flight of the day the other day, I gave throtle. When I gave throtle the drone with no delay responded normally. However, when I cut throtle, the drone kept going noticeably for about a second or two. I thought that to be a fluke, so I tired it a few more times with different batteries. The same result occured. What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed? Thanks for the help in advance.

It says I am using oneshot125 in betaflight. Iamy running a speedix 30a 4 in1 esc

I see this as 2 possibilities...
Either the FC/receiver/transmitter is actually slow to reduce the throttle value, or the esc is. You might be able to see something by looking in the Receiver Tab of BF and seeing if indeed the throttle reading seems slow to respond when you simulate the throttle move on the bench with props off.

The Speedix are top of the line and I would try running Multishot to see if it is the same or not.
What esc rev are you running do you know?
