My custom fpv flies perfect on my first battery, but as soon as I switch batteries my video feed cuts out at about 5 feet away. I have tried different batteries and nothing seems to work, any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
If the battery will fly the quad then it can have no affect on the strength of your video signal. If the second batt is right away it is most likely an overheating issue with the VTX. Many of them are designed to drop to the lowest available power setting when they get too hot. The digital systems can shut themselves off when they overheat.
