So what if it sinks straight down and pins both of those underneath? I'm thinking I'd put one on top and on on the bottom of the bracers...

If I was to use them that would make sense. What I did see though
just putting them there was unless you say put a touch of superglue to the strap where it’s on those braces they slide back.
