battery xt30 and battery xt60 and drone xt30

Hi,

I just bought 2 batteries. I did not check before buying, but 1 has xt30 connector and 1 has xt60 connector. The drone has xt30 connector.
I was planning to replace the xt30 connector on the drone with an xt60 connector and the xt30 connector on 1 battery with an xt60 connector. I don't see any problem, or am I making some fundamental mistake? The cables will have same size of the xt60 battery cables.

You can do that, just be SUPER careful when you're soldering the battery leads, Obviously if you cut them at the same time they'll short and likely destroy the battery. I've changed plugs on a battery a few times, the only small 6s battery I could find was xt30 and I use xt60 on all my 6s rated rigs.

What about connecting a battery with xt60 (and bigger wires) to an drone with xt30 connector (and smaller wires)? I'm not an electrician but it doesn't sound right. (I'm a plumber?)

You’ll be fine, I use those adaptors for charging all the time.
