So to keep me busy whilst I research for parts I've ordered a h8 mini drone to practice with.

I'm hoping to automate my drone and control it with my laptop, I'd like to focus on thrust and stability for moving objects safely, mainly for indoor use.

welcome, check out hglrc f420 20x20 stack. my micro is a bit bigger @119mm and motors are 1101 7100s. I also recommend the runcam eagle micro cam and matching runcam vtx.
so I'm recommending you use a pdb and FC made for each other to add simplicity. same with vtx and camera.
there's alot less hassles this way. makes a cleaner build and experience.
hopefully someone with that frame will chime in here as well regarding additional motor info.

Im NOT saying you're list of goodies wont work. its just a recommendation on 20 x 20 stacks.

This is arguably "best available" NOT most cost efficient!! I find using best available when you build quads... makes fun last longer. 1) better equipment longevity 2) most important for me.. no envy of better gear coming out for a longer period of time. When you know you put the best available in, you can't question the gear. Making your thumbs the only true variable between good and bad flights.
If you cant blame the gear due to questions on quality you realize its all you, stop questioning gear and just fly it.
